Upcoming Events

In anticipation of the Annual meeting (currently scheduled for November 11, 2026), BMOI is seeking nominations for individuals who want to serve on the Board of Directors. Applicants must be titled homeowners living in Bow Mar who are current on their dues, have lived in Bow Marfor at least two years at the time of election and who have a desire to promote the best interests of BMOI and the community.  One of the board members most important responsibilities is the fiduciary responsibility to choose how to balance capital expenditures, maintenance, debt, social activities and member dues.

The Board plays an important role in our community and can be a rewarding experience for those who participate. Some considerations for serving as a Board member are:

 

•        Strong interpersonal skills.

•        Commitment to attend all board meetings in person.

•        Strong understanding of time commitment as board member and role as officer / committee chair overseeing BMOI operations (ie: social, treasurer, beach manager, membership etc.)

•        Positive outlook for BMOI and how they believe they can contribute to the community.

•        Leadership experience with organizations either for profit or nonprofit

 

Depending on your role and the time of year, you can anticipate contributing approximately 10-20 hours per month.

 

Please plan to attend an informational session on Thursday, October 8th at 7:00pm to learn more about serving on the Board and let current board members talk you into applying. This session will be held at Robin Gamel’s house at 5201 Aspen Drive. Please let us know by email if you plan to attend or just stop by.

 

You should also be prepared to fill out the application provided here by 10/15/26. The application can be returned to Michelle Campbell at communications@bowmarcolorado.com . It will be made available on the website and in the November bulletin (with the contact information removed) to familiarize your neighbors with the candidates prior to the Annual Meeting and the vote.
